Refworks announced that it will be changing their interface to make it "cleaner, more streamlined" for users. The transition to Refworks 2.0 is going to take place in the next 3 months. However, you will have the option of using the old or new interface before the change to Refworks 2.0 is permanent. This transition period will allow users to adjust to the new interface. Refworks 2.0 will still retain the same functionality but also incorporate "Web 2.0 conventions, making it easier to navigate and more visually appealing."
